Karen O’Mahony

Founder & Managing Partner

Karen is the Founder and Managing Partner of PEAL Capital Group, where she leads the firm’s investment strategy within the high-growth longevity and hormone-focused healthcare sectors. A seasoned investment and operating executive, she has built an impressive track record of scaling and governing specialist services businesses through complex market cycles.

Prior to founding PEAL Capital Group, Karen served as Deputy CIO and Executive Director at Misland Capital Ltd. In this role, she was responsible for the sourcing, execution and management of private equity direct investments and co-investments, overseeing an AUM of £1.4Bn. Her leadership was instrumental in capital deployment and portfolio oversight, ultimately resulting in 48 successful exits. Karen began her career as an Associate at Goldman Sachs and later served as a Director at Davy Stockbrokers, developing deep-rooted expertise across both public and private markets.

Karen holds multiple board positions and is a Director of Global Longevity Academy Ltd, L&H Clinics Ltd, Derma Med Ltd and PEAL Athena Ltd. She is Chair of L&H Healthcare Services Ltd which is the entity that provides strategic oversight over a platform of longevity and hormone-focused companies.  

Karen holds a B.B.S. in Finance from Trinity College Dublin and a Master’s in Quantitative Finance from University College Dublin. Outside of her professional life, she has a weakness for red wine and a Russian Blue cat who famously ignores her…because everyone needs a soft spot!
