Newson Education

Evidence-based menopause & hormonal health education for clinicians and organisations

Newson Education is a medical education business dedicated to advancing menopause and hormonal health training for healthcare professionals globally.

There are 4.1 billion women worldwide, with 1.3 billion currently menopausal. Around 3 in 4 experience menopausal symptoms, and 1 in 4 face severe symptoms that significantly impact daily life. Beyond menopause, hormonal health needs are substantial: an estimated 350 million women live with endometriosis, and 250 million experience PMDD and related conditions.

Despite this scale, hormonal health and menopause are not covered in depth during medical training, leaving clinicians underprepared and millions of women underserved. Our mission is to expand access to evidence-based education so healthcare professionals can better diagnose, support, and treat these women.

PEAL Capital has partnered with Newson Education to accelerate digital platform development, expand internationally, and strengthen commercial growth across clinical and corporate education channels.

Why Now

While women on average live longer than men, women spend a significantly greater proportion of their lives in ill health when compared with men. And while women make up 51% of the UK population, historically the health and care system has been designed by men for men. As  independent reports have shown, too often it is women whom the healthcare system fails to keep safe and fails to listen to. However, this is changing. Global movement to improve women’s health policy and services throughout their lives.
